Hikes

The GR4 (sentier de grande randonnée - Grand Walk number 4) runs along the coast, past St Palais and Royan and continuing into the forest after La Grande Côte.

One of the most picturesque sections, Le Sentier des Douaniers, links the beach at St Palais to the beach at La Grande Côte.

Cycle paths

A cycle path links the town centre, starting at Allée de La Jonque, to La Grande Côte and runs into the forest through to La Palmyre and Ronce-Les-Bains.
Another path runs from the park to St Augustin.

Summer bike rides

The town's cycle club organises tours of discovery of the area every wednesday morning in July and August. The tours are around 30 km long, acompanied by a member of the club. On the way you stop to visit an oyster producer.

Light jogging

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday in July and August, the athletic club's members invite you for a jog round one of their many circuits.
